Freshman Shane Buechele Looks To Become The Next Great Longhorn Quarterback

Quarterback Shane Buechele has had a very impressive start to his freshman campaign as he has thrown 7 Touchdowns and 2 interceptions in three games so far this season. Shane went down early with a chest injury in the Longhorn's 43-50 loss to Cal but Shane proved his toughness and came back in the game, and almost led the longhorns to the win. but it could be a concern that teams have Shane figured out. Last season we thought Jerrod Heard was the next great longhorn Quarterback after two great games against Rice and Cal, but teams looked at Jerrod's tape and found out how to stop him, then the Horn's offense became stagnant. Shane has a better arm than Heard and that is why I wouldn't bet on teams figuring out Shane like they did Heard.
