All college football fans can agree that so far this season has been insane and thats a understatement. Houston was probably the biggest surprise starting the season defeating the #3 ranked Oklahoma Sooners 33-23. Ever since then Houston has continued to dominate lead by senior quarterback Greg Ward Jr. The Cougars currently rank #6 in the AP Polls but their biggest test in the sensational Louisville Cardinals lead by Heisman front runner Lamar Jackson. Louisville is the only team standing between them and their playoff hopes but it wont be a easy fight especially if Lamar Jackson continues to dominate the college football world. The game is set for November 17th at 7pm CT on ESPN making it the Cougars toughest game in front of the OU game. The key for the Cougars is to contain Lamar Jackson and force him to throw instead of using his tremendous play making legs. Houston will be forced to pick their poison to either emphasize his throwing arm or contaminating him in the pocket, both are tough decision when preparing against a player who has 25 touchdowns in just 4 games. If Houston wants to play in the playoffs this winter they will have to claw themselves through Louisville first.
