Houston Rockets beat the Shanghi Sharks 131-94 in first preseason game

The Houston Rockets beat the Shanghi Sharks of the Chinese Basketball League 131-94 in their preseason debut. James Harden along with Clint Capela got a double double, Harden had 16 points, 10 assists, 3 steals, and 1 turnover. Capela showed that he could fill Dwights hole as he had 10 points and 11 rebounds with some remarkable posterizers. Even though it was only a preseason game, the bench showed their depth with great playmaking and scoring from Nene, KJ Mcdaniels, Corey Brewer, and Eric Gordon. Ryan Anderson struggled shooting but had a solid game despite his struggles. The Rockets showed that they were a completely different team than last year with smooth ball movement, leadership, and communication especially from Harden who was playing the game with passion and enjoying working with his teammates. The Houston Rockets will play the New York Knicks tonight at 7pm CT.
